ok, this is my proposal so we get going:
we temporarily split in two groups.
round1 turn 1:
a) appleguy (wilmer) and one or two more (ucf-rohn and aggie-rosius?) explore the start room
b) moyank (beatrice), me (Loras), plutonius (Jorah) and maybe another one (eldiablo-dante?) split and move to the door to the top right, as suggested by beatrice. hopefully no monster there on round one, but if so 3-4 people should be enough to deal with it
round1 turn2:
- group a) joins group b) in the same room
- group b) explores the second room for traps and treasure

Only a few people here mentioned the bandwidth issues.
Cloud storage is a great idea but will only work if we have unlimited flat rates to access it. You have to pay for storage, but then you need to pay for access either thru you 3G cap or the ever increasing ISP caps.
ISPs are cracking down big time with people using stuff like Netflix around the clock.
I can't see how any of this mobile stuff will get better with AT&T and t mobile going together. Feels like the aol per minute days.
zebra wallpaper,Apple even made the bold move to take ARM processor design in house with the acquisition P.A. Semi and Intrinsity.
That's just shoddy reporting. Apple did have a lot of arm brains in their vslr teams, they just added talent, nothing more, nothing less. And A4 and 5 are rumoured to be more the work of the existing team, than anyone from pa semi.

I think you should go get your prostate checked.
Next time I go in for a physical, I'll make sure to get it checked out, after the MBP w/C2D becomes available. I am beginning to get up there in years. :)
Black Zebra Skin Wall PaperApple had the same problem with the original LISA UI. It was so simplistic that they lost the lawsuits. Same may happen here.
That's not at all what happened.
Zebra Wallpaper Border.Old news. I knew this three weeks ago and I send an anonymous email to these idiots and of course they ignored it
this room were some zebraPerhaps we'll see it intro'd at WWDC when Steve says:
"One More Thing"
Who knows, considering that WWDC is developer centric, what if Apple releases an API to allow either software to be ported to the device's OS and to allow third-party developers to write applications for the phone. I'm really looking forward to this year's WWDC more than I have past event. It's getting exciting.
fan of the zebra wallpaperThe game will begin very soon. Here's the roles for all players:
PLAYERS:
1. -aggie- : Rosius WIZARD
2. Eldiablojoe : Dante COUPLE
3. Moyank24 : Beatrice COUPLE
4. ucfgrad93 : Rhon ADVENTURER
5. appleguy123 : Wilmer ADVENTURER
6. Don't panic : Loras ADVENTURER
7. Plutonius : Jorah ADVENTURER
8. mscriv : ??? VILLAIN
Instructions: chrmjenkins will post the opening narrative very soon. I will then post the initial map (only one room at first). You all will then designate a leader of the party, who will report to me the actions you want to take (this will not take up a turn). Finally, you will vote on what action to take. The possible actions will be:
Explore room
Go through door (specify the door)
Split up.
To report the action, the designated leader must post the message all in bold for a quicker response.
I cannot believe that Apple would replace Intel with ARM. It would be a setback to the Mac: virtually everything would become incompatible once again. Remember how long it took the larger developers to create Universal versions of applications: Microsoft Office and Adobe CS.
The previous two transitions (680x0 -> PPC and PPC -> x86) weren't so painful if for no other reason than the install base was far smaller.
And putting ARM as a secondary processor so that Macs can run iOS apps? There's absolutely no need - x86 Macs can already run iOS apps well inside the iPhone emulator that comes with Xcode. The x86 processors are more than capable of emulating an ARM processor.

Looks nice as a place to store off site backup type stuff, but I still don't see how all this space as a digital music locker for streaming (again the back up part is nice) is all that viable at this time (Amazon, Apple, whoever) as data is getting capped more and more, and will cost more money as more things look to help you blow past your data-cap.
iTunes on iPhone in auto = no data usage, no interruptions.
iTunes on iPhone in auto streaming = data usage, and stream issues ...3G is not everywhere yet.
It is the future, but I until the US cell company's play ball on a cost effective way to do it (the att/tmoe merger won't help) then I don't see this working so well in the US.

Who wants a RIM playbook anyway, hehe.
If they add the "album only" feature to *All* Radiohead's songs, more bands will follow. Mostly for marketing reasons. There are lots of those crappy "Radiohead wannabes - ohhhhhh our songs should not be outside their album"
Now, I can't wait for tomorrow's event!
If we get more album only things, you might as well buy the CD instead. Nothing upsets me more than an entire album on itunes which is album only.

Seeing as how the iPad 2 didn't get retina display, I doubt iMacs will.
Imagine the cost of that!!
